The portable Spiderbeam is a DXpeditioner's dream antenna. It is a fullsize 3-band yagi, consisting of 3 interlaced
monobanders, in a lightweight and durable construction made of fiberglass and wire. All parts are made of high quality
materials resistant to weather, UV rays and corrosion.
This antenna
is recommended for temporary use during field days, expeditions,
contests, travel and installation in special locations for a limited
period of time. For permanent installation, we recommend the more robust
HD (heavy duty) version.
ATTENTION: this is the partially prefabricated antenna. The wire
set was measured, cut and pre-assembled by hand to be able to attach it
to the spreaders. You will receive all components and the complete wire
set ready wound on a plastic spool. This saves you the hours of
preparation and you can devote yourself entirely to the construction of
the antenna on site.
Info: This pre-assembly means a few hours of pure manual work.
The pre-assembled wire set can therefore take 1 week or longer, depending on demand and capacity utilization in production.

If this portable version is to be permanently installed at a
later date, it can easily be converted into the HD version.
Only a few components need to be replaced.
