Spiderbeam Dual Core Balun 1:1 (fully assembled)
high quality W1JR type coax choke 1:1 ratio, 3500W PEP balun for 3.5 - 28 MHz
This is basically the same balun as used in our Spiderbeam Yagi antennas: This model has just 2x FT-240/61 cores for higher power, instead of 1 core (standard balun). This W1JR type coax choke-balun has extremely good balancing properties on 10 - 28 MHz and quite good balancing properties on 3.5 - 7 MHz. It is very well suited as a high-power balun for all 50 Ohm antennas in this frequency range. It uses high quality components (Fair-Rite ferrite toroids, Teflon-insulated coax cable and a rugged UV-resistant plastic enclosure).
Note: all parts for assembling a single core standard balun are included with all of our Spiderbeam Yagi antenna kits.
We are offering this high-power version with 2 cores as a quality add-on for our Spiderbeam Yagi antennas, or as a stand-alone product for any other 50 Ohm antenna you may build.
